4W Cattle was founded in 1992 in Angelina County, Texas by the Mike and Terry Windsor. Named after their family of four, 4W Cattle began as a commercial cattle feeder operation starting yearlings out, taking them to wheatfields in the Texas and the Oklahoma panhandle, and then finishing them out in feedlots.
In 2003, 4W expanded into Houston County, Texas to what is now the main ranch. Continuing the legacy of great cattle management and looking towards the future, 4W Cattle began the F1 Brangus program in 2021 and is continuing to build the program today to provide the premium F1 Brangus stock in all of Texas.
With multiple locations in Angelina and Houston counties, 4W Cattle not only provides grazing for cattle, but also manages habitats for wildlife including white tail deer, axis, and a variety of smaller creatures and birds. As a level 3 wildlife management area in the state of Texas, 4W practices good land management and stewardship with mindful practices of erosion control, monitoring predator activity, and managing browse levels.
